About AJ Robinson

AJ was born March 3, 2011 in Columbus, Georgia. 

AJ discovered his love for music when he was just 5 years old. It started when he received a Casio keyboard for Christmas and his musical ear became quite obvious. He immediately began playing songs completely by ear without any instruction and it was clear that he had God given, unexplainable  talent. 

He continued to play piano over the years, and advanced pretty quickly. At 10 years old, AJ started playing the guitar as well, and eventually started singing and writing songs. He began writing his very first song when he was 10 years old, and since then has written several others. AJ works diligently on songwriting in his free time. He is a self taught musician and plays a variety of different instruments. 

AJ was a contestant on Season 29 of NBC's The Voice when he was 14 years old earning  a spot on John Legend's team.

AJ was just recently nominated in five different categories to receive awards at the Josie Music Awards. He will attend the Josie Music Awards Show on September 20th at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN.

Music is AJ's passion in life and he continues to chase his dream to hopefully one day become a successful music artist and songwriter. He believes all of the gifts and talents he's been given came straight from God, and not just by coincidence. He believes they were given to him to share with others and to somehow make a difference in the world.

Outside of music, AJ enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and playing sports. He also attends church with his family where he serves on the Worship Team. AJ strives daily to put God first in his life.
